No, students do not have to enroll in our program to participate in our dual enrollment classes.
Our Trailblazers Dual Enrollment Program offers a unique opportunity to our students. Because of our relationship with Christian Halls International, eligible students can take dual enrollment classes from South Eastern University with the in-person support of our Tutors. These tutors provide help navigating the college website, emailing professors, managing homework load, communicating with parents, and supporting students as they complete their work.
Southeastern University (SEU) is a respected Christian university that allows our high school students to complete courses online. These courses can be taken on a case-by-case basis or as a full program leading to the General Studies Associates Degree. This degree has a large number of elective credits designed to allow students to specialize in areas of interest in preparation for a particular career or to transfer to a college or university.
Dual enrollment is when a high school student takes college classes that meet the needs of both their high school program and their college degree.

Academic Advancement FAQs
They can earn as much as an Associate’s Degree (General Studies).
We cannot guarantee that individual courses will directly transfer to other colleges and universities, though they at least transfer as electives. This is one of the reasons that we recommend that students pursue the Associate’s Degree. Families should check with the student’s intended university to check for acceptance of credits.
Yes! These courses are intended to help students satisfy their high school course requirement
Faith & School Culture FAQs
Tutors support the students from a place of Christ-likeness so that even if we aren’t actively talking about faith matters, it permeates everything we do and say.
Yes! We are happy to partner with SEU because as a school, we are dedicated to the discipleship of our students and will only promote their education through a Christian institution at this level.
Who This Program Serves FAQs
Dual enrollment benefits a wide range of students:
• College-bound students seeking an academic advantage.
• Career-focused students wanting to explore potential career paths.
• Business-minded students interested in preparatory business courses.
• Students aiming to satisfy high school requirements through college-level coursework.
Dual enrollment classes might not be a great choice if:
• The student and their family can’t commit to the work and technology needs required.
• If the student is not academically prepared.
• If the student is too busy.
Communication & Expectations FAQs
Graduates of our Homeschool program will receive a diploma from us. In addition, families should also create their own transcript and obtain a copy of their SEU transcript from the student’s SEU account.
When doing dual enrollment, there is a partnership when communicating with SEU. Initially, GCH will communicate with SEU through our partner Christian Halls International to enroll the student whenever they sign up for their classes. Once the student is enrolled, they will be in communication with course professors about class content. If there are ever difficult situations with the school that need to be worked out, GCH will work with Christian Halls to mediate the issue and seek a satisfactory resolution.
